I love to read poetry, especially children's poetry. This book is perfect for me because I use to love finding bugs and keeping them in my little bug habitat. There are many different poems about the bugs in the poems and what they do while also describing each bug. This book is one of my favorites because we all know most little kids like to play with bugs. 

Melissa Sweet did perfect on these illustrations. They look like a kid drew them which was her reasoning to relate to the children reading this book. It helps show the kids how the bugs live in everyday life while also allowing them to relate to the kid drawings.
